Become a part of the Business Beacon for CCUS, CO2Vision

The Business Promotion Board has opened for the announcement of phase II and thus applications to become part of the business beacon for CCUS test and demonstration sites. Energy Cluster Denmark invites both new and existing partners to apply to be part of the further project.
CO2Vision is North Jutland’s local business lighthouse, which is part of a national designation of local/regional lighthouses for business growth. In CO2Vision, North Jutland aims to become a pioneering region for capture, use and storage of CO2 — also called CCUS (CCUS = carbon capture, utilization and storage).
The Danish Business Authority announces DKK 290 million for the further development of the local business lighthouses. CO2Vision will be able to apply for a subset of this pool. Get access to new knowledge and partners through development projects, and become part of a growing national network within CCUS originating from North Jutland.
General information
Financial framework: DKK 290 million in the total pool for several lighthouses and activities. CO2Vision will be able to apply for a subset of it.
Application deadline: 15 February 2023 at 23:59 for submission of project proposals. The complete application is later submitted to the Danish Business Authority.
Decision: Q2 2023
Legal basis: The current state aid rules for regional funds regulate the budget and financing framework.
