Biokul i marken - nytte og miljøpåvirkning

Information
What does biochar do to agricultural soil – both positive and potentially negative effects?
Come and hear leading experts share insights from the SkyClean Project.
The format of the field day will be a series of stations, where participants are guided in groups from one station to the next. At each station, 1–2 experts will present their topic.
The stations are divided into two tracks: one focusing on the benefits of biochar in the field, and the other on the climate and environmental effects of biochar.
Application Track
Biochar in the farmer's nutrient budget – opportunity or challenge?
Henrik Fredsgaard Larsen, Agrovi
Use of biochar under current regulations
Christina Frisk, Stiesdal SkyClean
Phosphorus availability in biochar – insights from our lysimeter field trials
Dorette Müller-Stöver, University of Copenhagen (KU)
Biochar field trials – effects on plant growth and soil parameters
Jonathan Hessner Lindhardt, University of Copenhagen (KU)
Climate/Environment Track
Risk of environmental contaminants – focus on PAHs and heavy metals (possibly PFAS)
Wolfgang Stelte, Technical University of Denmark (DTU)
Impact of biochar on soil microbiology – is it beneficial or harmful?
Anne Winding, Aarhus University
Climate impact and biochar stability
Esben Wilson Bruun, University of Copenhagen (KU)
