Energy Cluster Denmark will hold an extraordinary general meeting on 1 October in Vejle

31. August 2020

With Energy Cluster Denmark, the energy sector has a single unified, cross-cutting innovation effort and an association with 400 members. In October, members at an extraordinary general meeting can help to shape the work of the cluster.

On 1 October, an extraordinary general meeting will be held at Energy Cluster Denmark; Denmark’s new national cluster organisation for the entire energy sector. We hope that as many members as possible will take the opportunity to participate and greet an expanded membership and help the new cluster organisation get off to a good start.

Energy Cluster Denmark has been established with a clear goal:

We must produce energy in the best possible way; ensure an efficient supply; store and convert surplus production and use energy most efficiently. At the same time, we must ensure that there is a fluid integration and sector coupling across all focus areas, so that we create a strong, cohesive energy system that ranks among the best in the world,” says Energy Cluster Denmark’s chairman, Peder Østermark Andreasen.

We are already 400 members, and the vast majority are energy-related companies. Together, we must ensure the next major advances within the professional focus areas, which include energy production, energy storage, energy infrastructure, energy efficiency and sector coupling, system integration and digitalisation across the board.

At the extraordinary general meeting, there will be elections for three board positions between member companies in the SME segment. Members who wish to stand for by-elections must send their CV and motivated application no later than 24 September 2020 to Mona Madsen, Energy Cluster Denmark, e-mail: mom@energycluster.dk

Due to COVID-19, the general meeting for members will be held online through Teams from 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm.
