Aguardio ApS

Translation:
With the Aguardio PipeSensor, users gain a detailed digital layer across their systems for heating, cooling, and water management, both before, during, and after optimization efforts. The small, Danish-made sensors are simply attached with a strip and are guaranteed to last for 10 years. Detailed data on system “activity” at specific temperatures transforms the way buildings and technical systems are managed. Today, there is a very low level of digitalization of pipes and equipment within energy and water systems.
According to the EU, adjusting existing HVAC systems can reduce energy consumption by 10-20%. However, detailed operational insights are often lacking, meaning that many systems are still managed largely “blindly.” When Aguardio, for example, collaborates with Danfoss to optimize heating systems in Danish buildings, Danfoss analyzes sensor data from radiators, fan coils, ventilation units, and other components. Based on these insights, valves, heating curves, and other system parameters can be adjusted. In a recent project at Scandic Roskilde, just a few hours spent on the initial radiator adjustments reduced the share of inefficient radiators from 42% to 17%, with further optimization planned as the next step.
Aguardio is a technology partner of Hewlett Packard Aruba and Juniper Networking, allowing sensors in many buildings to connect directly online. The data can be integrated into Building Management Systems (BMS) and other digital platforms. In addition, the Aguardio PipeSensor can be used to monitor stagnant water, including legionella risk, as well as leaks and continuously running toilets.
The Aguardio Shower Sensor reduces shower duration by approximately 30% and provides detailed data on user behavior and consumption patterns. It also monitors bathroom health through humidity and temperature measurements.
