Municipal self-governing port - Port of Roemoe

Rømø Harbour is one of Denmark’s medium-sized ports and a port undergoing continuous development. Shrimp fishing and ferry services between Sylt and Rømø have for many years been the port’s primary activities.

Significant investments have been made in new facilities, making Rømø Harbour an attractive partner for offshore activities in the North Sea as well as for cargo transport.

The harbour’s geographical location makes it an obvious choice for offshore wind farms in the North Sea.
