61770009Developing a new type of supercapacitor electrolyte that, using a unique interface control and nanotechnology, enables the advantages of a classic aqueous and a modern organic electrolyte to be combined in one system.
This means that with the new technology it has become possible to produce a supercapacitor with a much larger voltage window than what can normally be achieved in an aqueous electrolyte (from 1.2 V to 2.3 V) while also obtaining the high conductivity, lower cost and much more environmentally friendly material technology that characterizes an aqueous electrolyte.
