Nordinvent

Nordinvent is a growing startup company, where we build separators that can separate waste production, of almost any kind, into new side streams, extremely good de-hydrating and upcycling into new sustainable products, including biomass/biofuel, animal feed and new ingredients for food production, etc.

Our solutions are built around the 17 global goals, but based on the wishes of our customers to become more sustainable in their production lines and wishes for a more circular economy and utilization of residual production as well as upcycling.

We are very happy to use partnerships to achieve our goals, including DTU and several subcontractors from the local area. We are very happy to take social responsibility by offering internships, possibly adult apprentices and offering flex job positions to the extent that it becomes possible in the long term.

Our DNA is based on Innovation, concept development, design and prototyping, when we develop the solutions in collaboration with the customers and their special wishes and needs.

Our solutions consist of a coherent process. The companies therefore do not have to use additional energy/CO2 emissions for unnecessary transport to other places that are responsible for drying and return, but have it all in-house.

We are happy to supply custom-made plug-ins if pre-treatment is required before processing in the separator. This could, for example, be a shredder for fresh grass before it is included in the transformation into animal feed or a subsequent heat treatment, if that is what is required.

In addition to concept development, design and construction of prototypes of the separator, Nordinvent also facilitates companies that work with solutions for green energy and energy storage, including Power to X around process optimization and other solutions around renewable energy.

In this context, we are also happy to take the journey further with the customer from innovation and research/idea development to real concept development, design and prototyping of test machines, if the companies would like to test the various theses, but on commercial market terms. In this context, we also offer various productions of sub-elements that are included, if the need arises.

In addition to being located in Næstved municipality, where we have our production development and part of the administration, we also have a few rooms in Alfa Laval's innovation house in Søborg, where we work together with other startups and with DTU Food Nation. This is where the remaining administration is located and it is also where our Technical Director Lars I. Hansen is based together with our production engineer and our electrical and software engineer.
