PySAF Ltd is a UK deeptech cleantech startup converting waste lignocellulosic biomass into intermediates for sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and bio-based chemicals. Using proprietary fast pyrolysis and fractionation technology, PySAF separates biomass-derived oil into distinct product streams, PyXCrude, a bio-crude intermediate for refinery and HEFA/SAF co-processing, and PyXSugra, a sugar-rich stream for bio-chemical and biofuel applications. PySAF operates an asset-light, IP-licensing model, partnering with refiners, technology licensors and research institutions across the UK and Europe to accelerate the transition to sustainable fuels and chemicals.
