About the project

Purpose of the Project

The purpose of the project is to design and develop an advanced analysis module with significant novelty value, targeted (initially) at the current challenges faced by wastewater companies. It addresses issues such as high capacity stress on pipeline systems, pressure for new investments, and high energy consumption.

Challenge

Wastewater companies face significant challenges with rainfall and groundwater infiltrating wastewater systems, causing unnecessary energy consumption and investments. Due to more frequent extreme rainfall events, the difficulties of managing water in wastewater systems are only expected to increase for wastewater companies.

Proposed Solution

An advanced analysis module with significant novelty value, targeted (initially) at the current challenges of wastewater companies. It addresses large capacity loads on pipeline systems, pressure for new investments, and high energy consumption.

Project Deliverables

Development and design of an advanced analysis module for automatic real-time analysis of companies' volumes and intrusive water, aimed at wastewater companies experiencing high capacity stress on their pipeline networks.

The project is funded by Energy Cluster Denmark's innovation support program, Fremme af innovation indenfor grøn energiteknologi (FIE), which offers a 3-year support program where small and medium-sized enterprises can jointly develop innovative electronic products focused on energy optimization. The FIE project is supported by the Regional Fund.
