DENMARK’S MOST CENTRAL DEEP-WATER PORT
The Port of Grenaa is one of the biggest commercial and industrial ports in Denmark. We live of access to the sea. Denmark’s central deep-water port, the Port of Grenaa is a proud junction in the centre of Denmark. The gate to the Kattegat. We are located closest to sailing routes through the Kattegat. On land, facilities include vast open areas close to the quayside at a comfortable distance from residential areas and the town centre.

PORT OF PARTNERSHIPS FOR A GREEN WORLD 2025
Port of Grenaa launched a new strategy 2025 at the turn of the year 2021. The strategy places importance on including the UN Sustainable Development Goals, permeating the entire strategy. Sustainability and CSR are integrated parts of the business of Port of Grenaa, reflected several places in the strategic approach. Energy & Innovation, including Power-to-X and the idea of partnerships for a green future make a strong foundation for an already ongoing development.

PORT EXPANSION AND MORE SHORE POWER
The Port of Grenaa is planning an investment towards 100 million DKK in a historic port expansion which is expected to be finished by January 2023. The port area will be organized flexibly and upgraded to 20MW shore power to be available for large projects across the port’s core segments, such as pre-assembly area and base service centre for offshore wind farms and testing of Power-to-X.
