ADP A/S

In recent years, ADP A/S has been fully engaged in transforming from a traditional port operator into the port company of the future, with the development of Taulov Dry Port setting the direction for green transport and logistics solutions.

As Denmark’s multimodal hub, ADP - through Fredericia Port and Taulov Dry Port - has delivered a strong climate-focused effort to shift more traffic from road to rail and sea. This gives ADP a natural key role in the further development of a leading energy hub, as the right infrastructure is a prerequisite for scaling future Power-to-X solutions.

The Triangle Region is in the process of realizing its vision of becoming Denmark’s center for CO₂ capture and storage as well as green fuels. In 2021, ADP established a climate partnership together with major stakeholders in the Triangle Region within energy, utilities, municipalities, Billund Airport and industry associations. Together with these partners, ADP is exploring opportunities to further develop a coherent infrastructure and logistics model for the green fuels of the future, enabling the Triangle Region to become a crucial element in achieving Denmark’s target of a 70% reduction in CO₂ emissions by 2030.
