Brundtland

Who are we?
Brundtland is a knowledge-based think tank dedicated to the democratic utilities sector: water, heating, and waste management. We are a collaborative knowledge and communication platform bringing together utility companies, industry, consultants, labour market stakeholders, and the research community. Together, we focus on three key objectives:
- To safeguard and strengthen democratic control over critical infrastructure.
- To help create a utilities sector that is a global leader in sustainability and the green transition.
- To promote innovation and the export of green utility solutions.
How we work
Ambitiously, fact-based, and with a forward-looking approach. Our work consists of knowledge products, visions, and policy recommendations for the future utilities sector.
- We develop and disseminate knowledge about the democratic utilities sector in close cooperation with our members and external partners.
- We facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing on the green transition, optimal framework conditions, and Danish solutions to global challenges.
- We produce policy papers and vision documents that contribute relevant knowledge to decision-making processes.
- We are a reliable and professionally grounded provider of information in the public dialogue on security of supply, the green transition, and critical infrastructure.
