The University of Copenhagen encompasses a wide range of scientific environments with the potential to provide valuable input to Energy Cluster Denmark.

The Faculty of Science has broad competencies within energy-related research and technologies. The Department of Computer Science at the University of Copenhagen (DIKU) is Denmark’s first computer science department, founded by Peter Naur in 1970. Since then, our researchers and graduates have helped lay the foundation for society’s accelerating technological transformation, and our research environment and results have positioned us as one of Europe’s leading and most attractive computer science departments. The Department of Computer Science coordinates the University of Copenhagen’s participation in Energy Cluster Denmark on behalf of the Faculty of Science and in collaboration with other UCPH departments and faculties.
