The results of the project will allow SONFOR to be capable of continuing their strategy of pursuing a greener production mix by decreasing the need for fossil fuel- based production. In addition, the DH4FREE project will enormously favor the spread of next generation electricity batteries, i.e. vanadium reflux batteries, on the part of DanSolar. This could allow the company to become their key manufacturer in the whole Europe.

There are a number of specific but varying requirements from companies working with permanent CO2 storage in underground reservoirs. The ULTRA project aims at making Southern Jutland as the centre stage in the fight against global warming by reducing the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions of space heating, space cooling and domestic hot water (DHW) applications by above 20 %. This result will be achieved by making reversible CO2 heat pumps “intelligent”, i.e. being capable of performing with very high efficiency all year round thanks to their advanced control system.
